More risk than reward

To all politicians that have anything to do with deciding the Enbridge pipeline, you are elected to act in the best interests of the people and our environment.

As an elected politician you do not have the given right to jeopardize our province and all the living creatures for the sake of token royalties and corporate greed.

A tanker running aground in Douglas Channel will result in a maritime disaster of the scale we have not seen in B.C. and for that matter never want to see. The risks of environmental damage alone far outweigh any benefits we may hope to achieve as a province. Enbridge’s track record of recurring pipeline spill incidents throughout North America should be enough for any politician to simply say “no” to the pipeline.
