The 13th annual Prince George Koi & Water Garden Pond Tour takes place Sunday and features seven new ponds. Tickets at Art Knapps and the Northern Hardware for $25 each or two for $45.

Switching On: Creating the Electrified Sub-Division of British Columbia Railway by BC Rail engineer Peter Bridge is the Central British Columbia Railway & Forestry Museum's first publication. The book tells the untold story of rail line electrification and the construction of the fleet of electric locomotives in the 1980s which made BC a world leader in freight railway technology. The book is available through the Railway & Forestry Museum, the West Coast Railway Heritage Park and Books & Co.
