Harry Potter Marathon runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Prince George Public Library celebrating the 15th anniversary of the first Harry Potter Book by J.K. Rowling. Dog Expo at Huble Homestead historic site Sunday from 10 a.m. for 4 p.m. This event is for dog lovers. Bring your pup out to show him off in the parade of breeds, enter your pooch in contests for biggest dog, smallest dog, best dressed, and best trick. Watch obedience and agility demonstrations, talk to pet organizations and shop the vendors while you let your pup socialize with others. The 10th annual Artists in the Garden Tour is held Friday, July 13 to Sunday, July 15 and showcases art, gardens, and the art of gardening, featuring a social kickoff event and tours of impressive local gardens, complete with visiting artists and musicians on site. Also included are do-it-yourself- workshops and talks on topics such as landscape architecture, gardening in small spaces, northern varietals, and composting. Friends of Thomas Days goes Friday, July 13 to Sunday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Central Interior Railway and Forestry Museum, 850 River Road. This weekend-long event includes pancake breakfast, fun, games and crafts, mini rail rides, movies, a barbecue lunch and more. Trains and vehicles around the park will be dressed up as Thomas the Train and all his friends. Great for kids ages two to five but fun for the whole family. For more information call 250-563-7351.
