Judy Russell presents the ballets La Fille mal Gardee, The Girl Who Was Guarded Too Much, the first comic ballet ever created, and Pinocchio, created specifically for the Enchainement Ballet students by their teachers, tonight at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. On Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. the Blast From the Past stage variety show including, modern, musical theatre, contemporary, tap, jazz and hip hop pieces. Elvis Elite presents a tribute to Elvis at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1335 Seventh Avenue, tonight at 8 p.m. Tickets $20 each at the Legion.

Northern Bear Awareness Society Pub Night tonight at 7 p.m. at the Westwood Pub, 233 Cherry Avenue. The Northern Bear Awareness Society aims to reduce conflict between people and bears through education, cooperation, and innovation. The fundraiser goes towards further education for the community. Tickets are $10 that includes a beverage and entry into a draw. Join the society for a night of drinks, raffles, a silent auction and karaoke.

Sweet Serenade - Summer Edition goes Saturday at 7:30 in Art Space, 1685 Third Avenue, presented by Dawn Boudreau Music. The evening features Olivia Johnson, Victoria Gabriel and Alyssa Gould with special guests Lorna Jane Simmons, Mackenzie Clarke and Sophia Egan. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society celebrates Multiculturalism Day with Summer Splash Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Experience ethnic food samples, live music with Raghu Lokanathan, dance workshops including salsa, cha cha and groove, interactive art space and international shopping with vendors from all around the world. Scrabble Addicts Unite at Books & Co. Scrabble Club Tuesday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m. Bring your own board if you've got one. Scrabble Club will meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

Every Tuesday members of the Sea to Sands Conservation Alliance will be in Caf Voltaire in Books & Co., 1685 Third Avenue, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to help people put together their Joint Review Panel presentations. If you’ve registered to make an oral presentation and want some help polishing your thoughts and keeping to the time limits, these are the people to meet.

Doug Koyama is in concert, with special guest Benedict Beattie, Thursday, June 28 at 7 p.m. at Art Space, above Books & Co., 1685 Third Avenue. Tickets will be sold at the door on a sliding scale of $5 to $10 because no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Beatlemania on Tour Thursday, June 28 at 8 p.m. at the Playhouse. Singer/actor Clark Gilmore performs as John Lennon, drummer Grahame Critcher plays Ringo Starr, guitarist Craig McGown is George Harrison and multi-instrumentalist Joe Kane is Paul McCartney. August 10 to 12 Rockin's River Resort at Salmon Valley hosts the fifth annual Woman's Festival by the River. This event sees women gather together on the banks of the Salmon River to celebrate themselves, to make new friends and remember old ones while exploring an all-about-me weekend filled with workshops, body work, readers, vendors and food.
