Jen Bruce and Jen Clyne led the way as the University of Northern British Columbia ran their PACWEST record to 13-0 with a 90-59 win Friday over the Camosun College Chargers in Victoria.
Bruce led the Timberwolves with 22 points while fifth-year veteran Clyne had 17.
The ladies face a stiff challenge against the second-ranked Vancouver Island University Mariners (12-1) in Nanaimo on Saturday at 6 p.m.
In the men's game, the T-wolves earned a 117-77 victory behind Jose Araujo's 21 points and fifth-year captain Dennis Stark's 18.
The T-wolves (11-2) will attempt to even the season series with the VIU Mariners (12-1), who won at the Northern Sport Centre in December. Game time is 8 p.m.
