    Job fair set

B.C.'s largest construction company, Ledcor Industries, is holding a two-day job hiring fair in Prince George in early September, touting the event as a sign of a recovering economy in northern B.C.

The hiring fair is part of Ledcor's effort to fill 150 positions at the recently re-opened Willow Creek coal mine near Chetwynd, 200 kilometres north of Prince George. The hiring fair at the Ramada Hotel is scheduled for Sept. 9 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
