A 20-year-old man discharged a number of rounds from a firearm prior to suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Dawson Creek.
Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a complaint of shots fired in the area of 94th Avenue and 15th Street. Currently police have secured both the male and the firearm.
Police will continue to investigate the matter and are requesting anyone witnessing the male discharging the firearm to call the local detachment.
