Northern Health is continuing to work closely with the ministries of Environment and Healthy Living and Sport as they prepare to do further testing of Prince George’s air quality.
The Ministry of Environment will proceed with an additional round of testing beginning in the next few weeks. Follow-up testing will also be done throughout the year to confirm the results. All of these tests will be conducted in collaboration with air experts from the Ministry of Healthy Living and Sport and PGAIR. The results will be made available to the community.
Dr. William Osei, medical health officer for Northern Interior delivery service area, said he will work closely with the agencies involved "to ensure any outstanding health concerns are addressed."
