After the Prince George drug section conducted a traffic stop Wednesday, 18 lbs of marihuana valued at $50,000 was seized from the vehicle carrying two males. One is a member of the Renegades motor cycle club. Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charges are pending. One of the accused is 32, the other is 26 and both are well known to police. A subsequent search warrant was executed on a residence in the 200 block of Explorer Crescent, which is the primary residence of one of the accused. One person was located inside the residence and was arrested. A search of the residence was conducted and further evidence of drug trafficking was located as well as a prohibited sawed-off shotgun, another prohibited weapon and several unknown substances which police believe to be illicit drugs.
