Quesnel RCMP seized hundreds of pot plants, along with a huge cache of other drugs, guns and stolen items during a raid Tuesday.
Mounties executed a search warrant on a home in the Two Mile Flats area, acting on information that they would find stolen items on the property. Officers searched the site and recovered a shopping list of items, including:
- several stolen motorbikes;
- a stolen ATV;
- a boat and numerous outboard motors;
- a dune buggy;
- the body and parts of a dismantled Ford F350 black truck that had been reported stolen in Vancouver;
- 203 marijuana plants and marijuana growing equipment;
- cocaine, mushrooms, steroids and other drug paraphernalia;
- stolen firearms and other tactical equipment;
- tools and other miscellaneous items.
Some of the items match up with items reported stolen in various communities around B.C. Quesnel police are in the process of trying to get these back to their rightful owners.
“We made no arrests but absolutely, the investigation is still well underway,” said Const. Jenny Collins. “If anyone knows anything that can perhaps help us in our investigation, please call and let us know as soon as possible.”
The Quesnel detachment can be reached at 1-250-992-9211 or give information anonymously to Crime Stoppers operators (1-800-222-TIPS / www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca).
