The Prince George Community For Kids Golf Tournament on June 7 raised $17,500 for the B.C.
Children's Hospital. The fifth annual event was held at Alder Hills Golf Course.

Health Employers Association of B.C. has selected Northern Health for an Excellence in BC Healthcare Award for its Integrated Cancer Control Improvement Program.
Dan Le and his team won the award in the Collaborative Solutions category at the third annual awards ceremony on June 23 in Vancouver.
A second win went to Claire Kirk from NH's Home and Community Care program in Dawson Creek in the Healthcare Hero category. Kirk, long term case manager, was also awarded the Healthcare Hero Provincial Award.
The awards recognize efforts of healthcare employees providing quality care and support to people of B.C., and excellence and innovation in health care.
