Police are adding up the clues towards the suspect in a weekend crime spree at gas stations and convenience stores.
"All three robberies were committed by a masked male brandishing a kitchen knife," said Prince George RCMP Const. Jayson Hansen.
Police believe that all three robberies were committed by the same person or persons, Mounties added.
The armed robberies occurred at the Continental Way Shell Station at about 11:40 p.m. Sunday; at the Highway 16 West Mr. G store on Monday morning at about 1:30; and at the Hart Highway Mohawk station at about 4:15 a.m. Monday.
The suspect is described as being a male about 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds. He fled on foot each time but it was thought he escaped the area in a waiting vehicle.
Police are asking for information from the public regarding a dirt-covered, red, small pickup, possibly a Ford Ranger. If anyone knows of this or believes they saw the pickup or the suspect in the area of the thefts, they are asked to call the RCMP as soon as possible at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS / www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca.
