OTTAWA - March Networks (TSX:MN), a provider of IP video and business analysis technology, says a bank in Latin America has chosen the company's networked video recording systems and investigation software for use at more than 1,900 bank branches and automated teller machines.
The order with the unidentified bank is valued at more than C$6 million over the next year, March Networks said Thursday.
"We are pleased to add this leading Latin American bank to the growing list of financial institutions using our solutions worldwide," said Peter Strom, president and CEO of March Networks, a small Ottawa company with fewer than 100 employees.
"Our integrated video surveillance and business analysis applications provide institutions with the powerful tools they need to address fraud, theft and liability issues, particularly during challenging economic periods."
In trading on the TSX, March Network shares rose seven cents to $1.80, a gain of 3.7 per cent.
