Future Shop is hosting a Guitar Hero competition this weekend. Guitar Wars begins Saturday at noon. You can take on local player Ben Cooper, who is ranked second on scorehero.com, for a minimum donation of $5 or play a friend for $2. All funds go to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation to support the new cancer clinic. Registration begins at 11 a.m. at Future Shop, at 201-3900 Walls Ave.

The Prince George Public Library and the Northern B.C. Lego Club present Lego Extravaganza 5 Saturday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the Keith Gordon Room of the Bob Harkins Branch.
There will be creative Lego displays built by the Northern B.C. Lego Club, two different contests for kids and families and on-site and off-site building contests.
This free, fun family event is open to the public. Call 250-563-9251 to register.

The Civic Centre hosts Ducks Unlimited tonight. Doors open at 5 p.m. for cocktails. Dinner will be served at 7, and entertainment begins at 8. A live auction is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. and a silent auction begins at 10.
