The provincial court trial continued Thursday for Lochlan Stanley Ferguson, 20, charged with being a party to robbery. Const. Maxime Babineau said he was called to an armed robbery complaint from the Queensway 7-11 store on July 10 around 10 p.m. He reviewed security videotape with an employee of the store. Lawyers then went into a voir dire, a trial within a trial, to determine the admissibility of evidence. The trial continues today. Ferguson has been remanded in custody. ------------- Rene Philip Mitchell, 38, was fined $500 in Prince George provincial court for driving while prohibited last spring. He must also pay a victim impact surcharge of $75. In addition, he is prohibited from driving for one year.
