The names of the two people found murdered in a Webber Crescent home this week are Garett John McComb, 23, and Brittany Joan Giese, 19. Both are residents of Prince George.
Police were called to a home in the 2300 block of Webber Crescent on Tuesday night with information that something was amiss inside. Police knew the home from a previous raid less than a month ago that turned up handguns and five arrests.
No details about the killings or motives have been released.
Police have so far said only that the murders appear to be targeted and have the apparent markings of the Prince George gang world.
"Both of these individuals are known to police," said RCMP spokesman Const. Gary Godwin.
It is known that the vehicle in the driveway, a Lincoln Navigator, had been riddled with holes the same day as the downtown gunfight that happened earlier this summer. Police said that incident was an exchange of gunfire between members of the Independent Soldiers gang and an unaffiliated group, who are apparently involved in rival drug trafficking.
