Volunteers are needed for the annual St. Vincent de Paul Society's Thanksgiving dinner Sunday.
"We badly need about 20 to 30 volunteers to help serve the community dinner to the 600 or 700 people who attend," said Bernie Goold, society member.
People who can assist from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Auditorium are asked to call Goold at 250-564-3416 or Lynne at the drop-in centre at 250-564-7871.
"The dinner, served between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., is for anyone who is alone or would otherwise not have Thanksgiving dinner," said Goold.
