CIVIC CENTRE
The Free Spirit Conservation Tour is on at The Exploration Place. The traveling exhibit -- based on the Free Spirit: Stories of You, Me and B.C. exhibition at the Royal B.C. Museum in Victoria -- celebrates the province's 150 year-history. The idea of the traveling version is to engage the entire province. It runs from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Saturday. Admission is free. ---- AiMHis Community Living Pancake Breakfast goes today from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 950 Kerry Street. Cost is $2 per person. ---- The snowmobile, ATV and bike show is on this weekend at the Civic Centre. You can check out the latest equipment and accessories for free today from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ----- Extreme Fighting Challenge 6 goes Saturday at CN Centre. Tickets range from $25 to $100. Call 250-614-9100. -- Volunteers are needed for the annual St. Vincent de Paul Society's Thanksgiving dinner Sunday. "We badly need about 20 to 30 volunteers to help serve the community dinner to the 600 or 700 people who attend," said Bernie Goold, society member. People who can assist from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Auditorium are asked to call Goold at 250-564-3416 or Lynne at the drop-in centre at 250-564-7871. "The dinner, served between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., is for anyone who is alone or would otherwise not have Thanksgiving dinner," said Goold.
