A male youth, who was stabbed this morning in the VLA subdivision, is in stable condition at Prince George Regional Hospital, according to RCMP. The incident occurred near a trailhead at the intersection of Pine Street and McCullagh Avenue, not far from the Hudson's Bay Slough. Some joggers located the teenaged victim. "We attended at 6:10 this morning," said Const. Annie Linteau of the RCMP's media relations in Vancouver. "We're still looking at all the circumstances, what happened, how it happened." A police dog team searched the area later in the morning, but did not locate a suspect. Linteau does not know if the stabbing is gang or drug related. Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to contact Prince George RCMP at 561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
