Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. (TSX:CWG) said Tuesday it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulators for an offering of subordinate-voting shares.
The company said the offering will be conducted on a best efforts basis through a syndicate of agents, co-led by National Bank Financial Inc. and Clarus Securities Inc..
The offering price of the shares has not yet been determined.
The money raised will be used for general corporate purposes including for expenses relating to the start of operations in certain of its markets and for operating expenses, to pursue growth opportunities.
Craig Wireless offers a range of telecommunications services, including, broadband Internet access and television programming delivery.
