A Spotlight on Agriculture reception in Quesnel will highlight local products produced by farmers in the North Cariboo.
The reception by the North Cariboo Agriculture Marketing Association is on from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Quesnel Seniors' Centre.
Cost to sample the array of farm products is $10 at the door or reserve your plate by calling Katherine at 250-992-3522 or Christine at 250-992-5205 by Aug. 13.
There will be a silent auction for products and services with all proceeds going to the Farm Fresh Food Guide 2009 project by Farmed and the Old Time Farmer's Market.
Special guest will be Corky Evans, MLA for Nelson-Creston.
