VANCOUVER - RCMP say they've arrested a member of the Hells Angels biker gang in northern B.C. to face extradition to the United States.

Brian Lee Hall was to appear before a Supreme Court judge Tuesday, after being arrested by RCMP late last week at a motorcycle drag race in Fort St. John, B.C.

Hall has been indicted in the U.S. on charges including conspiracy to import and distribute marijuana and conspiracy to launder money.

Police say Hall, a member of the biker gang's Mission City chapter, was arrested under an extradition warrant obtained by the RCMP drug section.

He was the subject of a two-year, cross-border investigation involving U.S. and Canadian authorities.
