I watch all the news all the time and I see and hear a lot about complaints of people and pictures of people getting the tar beat out of them seeing that police and justice system are not working to protect innocent people from the criminals that do the damage and cause the problems.
I do not sympathize with the laws and people that are going through these beatings should be allowed to take the law into their own hands to fend off the criminals.
Seems that when you contact the police they seem to wait till things are too late and then they want to charge a person for defending himself.
This I found out in situations of my own. The answer you get is "... the criminal hasn't broke the law, so we can't help you."
The police should investigate the problem before it leads to problems or beatings on innocent people.

RCMP are too busy handing out traffic infrations to be interested in real crimes. Remember criminals do not pay fines! Traffic violaters have to pay! Get the money out of the working person is the RCMP's and LIberal government's top prority.
