Successful BMO Kidz Art Dayz
The Two Rivers Gallery is delighted with the overwhelming success of their two day event this month July 11 and 12. Altogether 3,200 people came through the gallery which organizers describe as a magnificent turnout! Families participated and groups came together covering age ranges from babies to grandparents. More than twenty activities inside and outside the building kept everyone entertained. Two special highlights were creation of a colourful domed hideout and transformation of the boulevard greenery into Wishing Trees as children recorded their hopes and dreams along with some quite profound thoughts!
The gallery staff is especially appreciative of the participation by the Bank of Montreal. Not only did the bank support them financially, many of their staff members and their families came out to help staff the activity stations and contributed to making the event fun for everyone.
