Re: Tasering incident will scar (Citizen letter June 27).
I read the latest version of police bashing with great interest. It is clearly all a matter of perception.
The letter informs us that the "victim" is a hardworking father of two. I question why this upstanding citizen is at the Cadillac Ranch in the wee hours of the morning and creating a disturbance that calls for police intervention?
And then there is the unbiased reporting of the drunken crowd that adds to the general chaos of the situation.
My perception is that a law-abiding person will never be Tasered or arrested.
Come on people. Be accountable. Unaccepted behaviour has consequences. Grow up and reap what you sow.

I agree Cheryl. People forget that their behaviour has consequences and are too quit to blame someone else.

It seems to me that we have allowed way to much... Our parents would probably have given us a smack rather than put up with a bunch of crap. My friends would have done better!

Kudos to Cheryl Baxter! People need to be more accountable for their actions and quit playing "victim". This has nothing to do with police or tasers. Its all about how a lot of people in society find it easier to point fingers and put blame on others when the truth is in front of your face. The whole "it wasnt my fault" attitude is pretty lame. BE ACCOUNTABLE!
