BURNABY, B.C. - A B.C. man caught in a child pornography investigation involving police in the U.S. and Canada has been sentenced to jail time.
The RCMP say Jerry Dale O'Bray, 47, who had pleaded to accessing and possessing child pornography, has been sentenced to four months in jail.
Undercover officers in the U.S. contacted the RCMP in December 2006, and a search warrant was executed at O'Bray's apartment in Burnaby.
The search found images and videos of child pornography on a number of hard drives.
O'Bray pleaded guilty in April, and was sentenced late last month.
He was also sentenced to three years of parole, and was told to stay away from public parks, public swimming areas, daycare centres, schools and playgrounds for four years.
