FOOTHILLS BOULEVARD

Re: Dangerous goods routes.
I was surprised to see Foothills Boulevard included among the city’s proposed new dangerous goods routes. This route will add distance traveled; pass close by many residential neighbourhoods in the Bowl area (both existing and future extension south of 15th Avenue); and will include the long, steep, single lane road down from the Hart to the controlled intersection with North Nechako Road.
The city is accepting public comments until the end of the week via their website: http://www.city.pg.bc.ca/city_services/transportation/dangerousgoodsroute/

Foothills may be bad but look at the alternative, the Hart Hwy.
Could this be a little N-I-M-N on your part Mike?
