VANCOUVER - Imperial Metals Corp. (TSX:III) said Thursday it earned $44.2 million, up sharply from a year ago, as revenue improved more than 30 per cent.
The metals producer said the profit amounted to $1.35 per share for the three months ended June 30 compared with a profit of $3.2 million or 10 cents per share a year ago.
Revenue was $124.9 million, up from $93.2 million.
Imperial has two key mines in British Columbia as well as a development project in the province and an exploration project in Nevada.
