TORONTO - Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX:LUX) has reported a net loss of $1.26 million for its third quarter ended May 31, compared with a year-ago loss of $1.21 million.

Revenue, all from high-performance display products, rose 12 per cent to $1 million from $894,000.

On a per-share basis, the net loss was two cents in the latest quarter, compared with three cents in the year-earlier quarter at the maker of flat-panel display technologies for military and avionics applications.

"While we are well aware of the challenges we face in completing the transformation of the company, we are also pleased to report that we continued to make operational progress and were able to further reduce costs and improve long-term margins," stated Luxell CEO Jean-Louis Larmor.

"The business activities are growing for Luxell and we remain confident in the promising markets in which we operate."
