One rider is dead and another was airlifted to hospital after a motorcycle collision in the Cariboo. According to Quesnel RCMP Const. Ryan Danilowich, the crash happened Saturday night at about 8 o'clock on Arnoldus Road in Kersley, about 20 kms south of Quesnel.
Both were dirt bikes.
"The two bikes collided on the gravel roadway and one driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the other driver has been airlifted to a Vancouver hospital due to injuries," Danilowich said.
An RCMP collision analyst was dispatched to the scene to gather evidence and help determine the cause for the two cycles to cross paths.
No names were disclosed and it was not specified what the ages or genders of the two riders were, or what their relationship might have been to each other.
