Got Keys?
Driving back to Prince George on Monday from Revelstoke with my daughter, I left my purse in the Tim Hortons at 100 Mile House. Upon arriving at Fort Alexandria (just south of Quesnel) to eat dinner, I discovered my error.
Long story short, the server “Troy” (a woman) suggested Greyhound and then the owner’s husband, who is a trucker. (It was a two-hour drive back and another two hours return).
The owner, Karen Beaumont, phoned her husband, Bruce, who agreed to pick it up and bring it to Van-Kam in Prince George.
I have my purse, money, credit cards, ID, debit card and passport all back, thanks to these smart and caring folks.
Would like to thank the fellow traveller who turned the purse in, Tim Horton’s staff and manager Jay, Troy, Bruce and Karen, and Trish and Susan at Van-Kam Trucking. Hope I have a chance to help someone else in the way I have been helped. Thank you so much to all these kind and honest people and a big thank-you to trucker Bruce.
