Green Roads Recycling Ltd. has been awarded a $4.5-million contract to resurface a section of Highway 97.
The work involves resurfacing 15 kilometres of Highway 97 between Salmon River Bridge and O'Dell Road, and 33.8 kms between 2.3 km North of Tallus Road to Red Rocky Creek. The project will include using a combination of hot-in-place asphalt recycling and admix.
The Fernie company will begin the project in June.
