The audience will be lost in an hour of fantasy when renowned children's author Robert Munsch brings his animated, energetic storytelling style to Prince George this month. Wearing a host of expressions, Munsch's exuberant personality brings to life much-loved characters of such classics as The Paper Bag Princess, Mortimer, Stephanie's Ponytail, Moira's Birthday and Love You Forever. A member of the Order of Canada, Munsch has sold in excess of 30 million books worldwide. This year, he was chosen as honorary chair for Family Literacy Day, a national initiative held each year on Jan. 27. He performs at 11 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. May 24 at the Civic Centre. Group rate is $15 per ticket for 20 or more. Otherwise, tickets are $18, available at www.ticketmaster.ca.
