MISSION, B.C. - The RCMP says an internal review will investigate how an armed robbery suspected was able to escape from the Mission detachment.

A drug investigation officer took 27-year-old David Glen Moody outside for a smoke Friday in hopes of questioning him about drug activity in the area.

He fled from the officer and stole a vehicle which still had the keys in the ignition.

So far, police dogs and the Emergency Response Team have failed to find Moody.

Const. Amanda Fallis says Moody wasn't cuffed, which is unacceptable. (CKNW)
