The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada's Prince George Centre is participating in a country-wide activity named Astronomy Day on Saturday. Set up from noon until 4 p.m., telescopes will be available for the public to do some safe solar viewing, said Glen Harris, secretary of RASC-Prince George Centre. Prince George astronomers will have the telescopes set up in the southeast corner of the Pine Centre Mall parking lot near Zellers. "So please come out and join in the fun," Harris said. "If the weather is inclement, we'll have a table display set up somewhere in the mall."
