Change can be a very scary thing for most people. The Lheidli T'enneh people are no exception.Imagine how most of us would feel if we had to negotiate, then ratify a treaty with the American government? All the while the Americans are behaving like it is a done deal. Then, American representatives are telling us what a great deal it is and going a step further by telling us a No vote is a dumb vote.In my opinion, the only dumbness surrounding the proposed Lheidli T'enneh treaty were the politicians who believed it was a done deal. If the politicians in our fair country wish to end their paternalistic relationship with aboriginal people, perhaps they should stop preaching and start practicing.-- Jules MorinPrince George
